i bought my first hp995 in 1996, and a year or two later, bought one for my wife. when the 995ts came out, i bought one of them as well. these are very accurate, very dependable guns. also, i own 3 of them for about $525.00 total. the 995ts has a tactical light mounted and stays in our bedroom. the other two get taken out almost monthly for extended hedge-apple and plastic jug killing sprees, and they perform very well. you have to check the front sights for tightness every few hundred rounds, as they will loosen up and slip down, but that is the only problem i have ever had. the magazines look cheap and only hold ten rounds, but none have failed in almost ten years of ownership. dont bother with the 15 round mags, they do not work. i also own a kel-tec sub2000 which is lighter, and uses high-capacity mags, but the 995 is much more comfortable to shoot.

This is a very nice shooting firearm. This weapon is very accurate and is deadly at any yardage. The price is right with this firearm. Some people I have talked to about this firearm have their opinion and I have mine. Lets put it this way, I love this firearm so much I have 2. One 995TS and a original 995, that are my go to for fun shooting.
